Ambient music a Monday evening. The track(s) was made using Digitone 1 and Digitakt 1 some years ago.
Tracker madness.
Just got the pulsar 23 drum machine after 7 years of resisting or focusing on Elektrons only ha … workflow is so fast and surprisingly flexible too for performance with the ability to clock tracks but also layer loops ontop (I do so with the bass) and CV control for performance (tune shift for bass) Enjoy
simple dungeon synth tune made in renoise
Tonverk fun stuff
Atmospheric effort for the Dogs On Acid May Sound Design Challenge.
New single out today
So this is my SongContest contribution:
I accidently recorded part of a radio interview with the greek participants, talking to a Viennese radio station. Couldn’t resist throwing smthg together.
Back to dawless once again:
The development of our 77th song reaches its culmination as we overdub a spoken-word component atop the entire track. The main vocal remains high in the mix as we add an extended monologue beneath the whole thing. The sprechgesang component consists of cut-ups (just as with the main song lyrics) but these cut-ups are constantly undergoing permutations in real time. This audiovisual document lets you see the words in an overlay, and during wordless moments we fade back to footage of the original instrumental improvisations (Roland MC-707, J-Bass, Ensoniq EPS 16 Plus, Telecaster, pedalboards). The thumbnail captures the spirit of the conclusions we reached following this musical moment.
A tune about life and video games in three acts – M8 only. It’s 7 minutes long, but there is a boss fight in the end.
Sonicware CyDrums glitch experiment. Gets noisy.
Built this tune around a loop I wrote on the M8. It eventually snowballed to include orchestral parts, some guitar, and the output from a loop-mangling plug-in that I’ve been writing.
Everything is all still a bit nuts, but opened up MAKID (nice Ableton project manager) the other day and saw I had a track that I wanted to come back to.
Started this in 2024, but It I switched computers and had to delete the reverbs that were not compatible on the system.
It’s super chill and I had forgot about it.
I don’t think I ever intended to publish, but why not?
This pairs well with a gummy 1/8th of 5mg for me, because I’m a lightweight.
Took a slight detour and made the sounds for this GameJam project:
Hi! Thought to share my latest release here. The record was built around an eurorack patch featuring Basimilus Iteritas Alter but the initial euro patch was only used to build the initial skeletal basis for these tracks. 80% of the drums were done with Machinedrum (love it). Ambient / Dub / Techno / Psychedelic and Krautrock-ish maybe even?
trying new things, trying old things with old equipment
I am blown away by everything posted here, checking in after a long week.
This track especially hit right at home, as well as @birdydy’s a few posts up.
Thank you all, it is such a joy to be a part of and witness to ![]()
