I like, I never go that fast because I kind of feel lost there, but I sometimes really enjoy trippy techno/tekno > 150 bpm
A little dancehall jam on DT2.
It’s taken some time but I finally have a new track out as me. I also made a little music video for it using the artwork (done in 3d) as a base.

Digitone II + Kawai k1 for those tasty bass guitar sounds
In late February, Corduroy Institute convened to create a new multitracked improvisation. We began with a rhythmic layer in which the MV-8800 provided drums and the bassline came from the Squier Jazz Bass. The key to this performance, however, was the delay we applied to these instruments. The MV-8800’s drum loop was coated with the unit’s RE-201 Space Echo emulation, and the bass had dual delays coming from the NUX Atlantic and the Boss DM-2w. Is this dub? Probably not, but our improvisation is perhaps music from (or on?) the edge of breakdown.
a lot is going on here that’s new for me.
i’m trying to deliberately eq in a smart way.
it’s still way outta balance. also, i said “i’m doing something housey in major”.
I’m open to eq tips.

I try to regularly post two dawless jams a week on Insta. For practice, but also because it’s fun and a great source of materials for future tracks.
Just put out an EP with two of those tracks. With loops from DFAM and Analog four. Minimal, hypnotic techno.
It’s been a while since I posted anything finished. I’ve been busy trying to finish up some stuff. Still pretty rough but it’s on the way.
Most of these are a mix of VCV Rack, Logic plugins, Torso S4, and Elektrons in different combinations.
Track 1 is the S4 resampling other sketches.
Track 2 is a single take with the Analog Four mk2, with some post effects.
Track 3 and 4 areVCV Rack patches, while Track 5 is a pair of Nord Modulars.
Track 6 is the Octatrack eating stems from a Logic session.
I LOVE Digitone! My productivity is off the charts with this gem.
Layers of Juno from a while back. Plenty of that Arturia Space Echo emulation too.

Hello all, I’ve been working on some new bits recently so I’m really happy to share one here. All feedback is encouraged
For this one, the bass, synth and rims are from the M:C, everything else comes from the DT2, where the main drum pattern was then resampled and looped in the Octatrack.
Everything then recorded and mixed down in Ableton and mastered through Heat+FX.

Nice vibes.
Dare I say, Enya-esque
Thank you! Was a little inspired after seeing Nils Frahm in concert last year. Lots of Juno-60s and Roland Echos. Lol sounds like I missed!!!
A little track made by me.
A huge part of it was recorded and sequenced on Push 3 SA and I really liked how smooth it was
