Here’s a video that shows how we make lyrics out of cut-ups, but the backing track might be more interesting to Elektronauts. We dug through our multitracks from late 2020 and found the EPS 16 Plus track from You Bring the Sunshine, We Bring the Blackout and the V-Synth track from An Interpretation of Our Own Story. These were then combined and slowed down. This, in turn, was sent into VCV Rack 2 and the results were slowed down to create this:

First 24 hours with an MPC Live 2. Never used an MPC, so it’s quite the learning curve. Embraced to vibe and sampled some vinyl for the first time in many years. Just a piano/vocal thing. The rest is all stock Akai plugins and one shots

Here’s a sorta Massive Attack inspired beat driven ambient beat. The drums were a complete accident. It came about when I was trying to stop my cats from eating my cables and mashed my keyboard and bumped into my mouse.

Industrial dark techno with Panasonic vibes. Noodlings in DAW, just Bitwig with the internal synths and samplers.
The main “riff” - is a 0-coast sampled with AKAI MPC One and then mangled. Distorted drums - taken from record of mutating “hardcore” kicks from Access Virus B and also mangled.
I promise I’ll make a club hit from it, yes…

New single - the first in a series of tracks recorded in one take directly on the Blackbox. No post processing except for a limiter to increase the loudness. Quite a messy but also very quick approach to release my tunes
