I was clearout of the dropbox account the other day and I came across this project I made back in 2016 when I came across my old 4-track tape recorder in storage. I started recording samples of youtube into my SP-202, which was on its last legs and doing an overdub or two with synth apps on an iPad that I would run through a couple of moogerfooger pedals. It was this project that got me back into home recording and eventually into modular and elektron gear. I remember really wishing I had an actual sequencer on the SP-202 and was not familiar enough with iPad apps (was using mostly the old animoog app) yet to figure out how to use it as a substitute entirely. Listening back now, I enjoy the dreamlike quality to the music and the inescapably low fidelity. Some of the samples were kind of on-the nose city pop loops but I think I had just discovered vaporwave the month before, so please forgive me.
Some of my tunes
Finally finished this. Added vocals. Little bit of shoe gazing
My attempt at synthwave with Digitone and Octatrack (single take). Tried a few new things with this one, including SFX for texture and the OT spring reverb. It’s not as velvety/lush as the Dark Reverb, but there’s some character there that can sometimes capture just what you’re going for.
My new melody-infused acid techno track
A noisy thing I threw together on the Syntakt (no external effects at all!!) What a fun little box this thing is
Had the day off, figured why not take a Lil Peep song, play around with vocal manipulation and layering, and turn it into this?
Long work weeks ahead, so might be my last fun for awhile.
Not new, but interesting hypnotic techno work, i think
Digitakt on drums and sequencing a naive melody on a Roland D110.
Hi, ENs! Welcome to dub ambient techno experiments-

I’m curious, is there any place to drop audio embeds for easy sharing with people beyond Youtube, Soundcloud, or Bandcamp?
Preferably with no additional re-encodes. I want to move eventually to Bandcamp so the idea is to Google Drive style cloud links with a few trusted friends while I work out drafts, but they look extremely ugly to paste in.
I wonder if there’s some sort of overlay I can use for a single set of demos and Github hosted content?
