I used to love “Catch me if you can” by Steven Spielberg, with amazing Tom Hanks, Leonardo DiCaprio and Christopher Walken. It was my guilty pleasure that i watch once a year. Mainly because of great filmmaking by Spielberg and acting from mentioned actors. Also the story was really well said even knowing that protagonist is a criminal. But after watching this video that changed.

I shouldn’t want these, especially with my 1010music nanobox tangerine still being one of the best for sample lengths and multi-sampling capabilities, but I still find these pretty fascinating.
Like with the PGB-1, I really like the Wave Bard’s open source ethos, well, with the company itself rather. I also really like that it can be powered with just batteries.
The other device is also great, I just hope it’s got better pitched MIDI implementation than the Korg Volca Sample 2 did, which was frustrating IMO.

awesome been looking for some insight into industrial drum programming! I have the bass line down using my Virus and Syntrx and DB01 get me industrial, darkwave, techno and heavy bass lines now for drum mastery. Hopefully I can release my industrial techno soundtrack next year.

common applications of feedback (op amp gain, filter resonance, etc) demonstrate some methods of controlling acoustic feedback with small speakers and piezos, some pedal feedback with a passive matrix mixer and maybe a short performance with my Cocoquantus.

Nifty concept, kinda wish I got these too because I thought I lost the battery chargers. Literally the only non-rechargeable batteries I have are in my spare bike lights and in my cheap supermarket mouse.

One of my favorite Spierlberg movies. The quality of the staging, the rhythm, the casting. Everything is perfect.
However, I would have liked to see a version of this story made by Scorsese for example, always with Di Caprio of course. I think it would give an incredible movie, much darker and realistic.

My local supermarket was selling off AA and AAA USB-chargeable batteries nice and cheap a few months ago, so bought loads; they might be micro-USB, but hey - they still work.
Story is quite sad actually. Frank was not a good person, even today. He hurt and stole from families and not big banks as he claimed all his life.
