I’ve watched Ghost In The Shell (1995) with my son, and I’ve been fascinated again.
The part in the street is especially remarkable, I have tried to assemble a handful of screenshot for the fun, and figured I would actually like this as a poster in the studio
You want the highest resolution available and you can get a print shop or photography lab to blow it up and print it. Alternatively you can use an online service like this
just a random pick, I don’t have any recommendation as to who.
Mamoru Oshii does incredible cityscapes and perspectives. Check out some of the stuff in the patlabor films as another good example. Patlabor 3 is not the best entry as a part of the series ( a bit detached from the overall series plot) but some of the cityscapes are brilliant.
I also just rewatched the first ghost in the shell movie for the 10,000th time. It never gets old.
I tried to find some original production art for the film and came up with a link that has the original storyboards and some finished artwork, like cityscapes. It’s really quite nice to look at, maybe you can find some useful images in the gallery for your poster.
Keep scrolling past all of the pencil sketches and you’ll come to some colored works.
Maybe this will help, maybe you already found this though.
I’ve actually now also found your poster for sale, already printed. At least for the scene you posted the screenshot from. You’ll have to look at it though to see if it’s the one you want. They have several other from GITS and a number of other films. Cost seems a bit high but I haven’t had a custom print in a number of years so I’m not familiar with the current pricing.
