Here is one from today minimal version
my new liveset, i did it with my digitak 2 + kaoss pad 3+ \o/
Been spending time with the Digitakt II and it finally “clicked” for me once I stopped treating it like a sample-based Digitone II.
I built an entire track using only AstroLab 37 synth samples and the DT2 surprised me in the best way. Chopping, pitching and reshaping synth loops is way more fun than I expected. I even stole the drums from a Digitone II performance I did earlier this year, but sliced and randomized beyond recognition.
Here is a Techno Jam with the Ohm Force Bohm sequenced by the DT2
I’ve been spending a bit more time with the DT2 while on holiday break and putting track swap to good use as a means to song structure. Funny thing about this track - Soundcloud flagged it automatically and claimed it had elements of another artist’s song, which was false. After some trial and error, I discovered the sampled chords were the culprit, but they were sampled from an older jazz tune. This was a bit frustrating for me, but I decided to run those chords through the +comb filter with some sample rate reduction and voilà, problem solved. I actually like the comb filter version better.
Really interesting track, love it
Thank you, i appreciate it
Couple of demos from my free SY-Tron sample pack I made, sampling ST through Monotron Delay into DT2. There’s a separate topic I made for it, check it out!
I made a release of some re-edits recently. Made using digitakt 2 and model samples.
