I can’t tell you an exact setting right now, just the general idea. Normally I would start with noise, which on the M:C is best achieved by using the tone machine with a fast LFO routed to pitch. But since a soft attack is essential to a shaker sound, I need to use the LFO for that and I’m stuck with the metal machine as a sound source. I like to kinda simulate the back and forth movement of a shaker sound by using velocity and parameter locks on pitch and decay on nearby steps, to make it sound a little bit more organic
