I have all my gear going through an 8i/o MIDI hub (Yamaha MJC8). The OT is the master for my computerless preset on the unit. The OT controls tempo and transport for my other gear (MM/A4/0Coast/Virus), and my Novation Remote has it’s MIDI out going into the hub to control the OT. I was running into a problem though where if I wanted to control the A4 with my novation keyboard, I couldn’t do it while on the OT preset on my hub as the A4 is receiving MIDI from the OT. However, if Iplug the OT MIDI Thru into an input on my hub, and then arm a MIDI channel on the OT to the A4 channel it’s using, I can change the channel on my keyboard to the A4 channel and play melodies while still getting tempo and transport from the OT.
