Hey guys,

I just can’t get my head around this. I have a Digitone, and when I plug it into the USB (all good so far, using overbridge), I choose Digitone under the Audio Input Device preferences in Ableton. BUT… also have a KORG Prologue Synth, and now I can’t use this because it’s plugged into mu audio interface, and so I have to switch audio input preferences each time I want to fluidly move from instrument.

How on earth do I use both so they are loaded and ready to go all, at once (ideally, I want to only use USB connection for digitone, because it saves me having two midi connections as I use that for the prologue).

Any help appreciated.

It’s been a while since I had an Elektron with Overbridge, but from what I remember you don’t actually need to select your Digitone as the audio interface – instead, select your other interface and then load the Digitone Overbridge plugin to access the channels via that. Alternatively, if you only have one synth (assuming either one mono or one stereo output), plug that into the Digitone audio inputs and record that channel separately alongside the Digitone audio channels.

Oh my god, you’re right. Changing the input doesn’t affect a thing. Thanks so much for the speedy answer. That’s solved everything, cheers
