Hey there !
I am reorganising my CF Card for a gig, and created a new Set on my MAC to move some projects there.
The Set is not visible on the Octatrack. I suppose it is because I created the Set (folder) on the computer ?

It shouldnāt make any difference how and from where the set folder gets created, but have you also created the āAUDIOā folder within the set folder? Otherwise a set folder may be invalid/incomplete.
Shouldnāt matter. What have you called the Set?
Donāt use illegal charactersā¦
You should have a folder structure such as:
No, you can create on computer perfectly fine.
ā¦easier u stay with one setā¦and one audio poolā¦
just create one new folder containing all u need for ur new live set and drop that in the audio pool of the set u already gotā¦
big advantage is, u can still also use all the rest whenever u like or changed ur mindā¦within the same actual projectā¦
set is main directoryā¦if u set up more of them, ur always restricted to the exclusive audio pool of that new setā¦
so itās way more handy to have a good folder structure in the audio pool and stay always and only with one setā¦
ā¦but if u do so, take care, via ur computer, to get rid of that new created set againā¦
pick that folder u created for that new audio pool and place it in the āoldā one, then erase the abandoned set againā¦otherwise ur card keeps that xtra storage space for no further needsā¦
Thatās the key probably, I had the same issue the other way round (Set visible on the OT but not on the Mac) because I used special characters. After renaming it I could access it as usual.
They shouldnāt be used anywhere; regardless of software/hardware⦠might look cool using an umlaut, yen sign or old nordic rune; but one day it might come back to bite you. Honestly donāt think they should even be an option.
I didnt create the AUDIO folder, that must have been itā¦
The naming was pretty standart.
thanks !
