Explored your website… a lot for Sequential, Unfortunately nothing for Prophet 6.

I still have the Prophet 6 on my list, but I really needed a break from the Prophet-Sound for a while. Maybe this year.

This makes me curious what your personal favorite synth is, one you won’t easily need a break from and why?

I’ve got several, but the following have accompanied me for quite a while, now:

  • Sequential OB6 & Matrix 1000 (love that Oberheim Sound)
  • AS Semblance (stored away, but that one had been an essential part of my studio for years for its incredibly melancholic and smooth sound)
  • Twisted Electrons MEGAfm (great for OldSchool Dub Techno) and TWISTfm
  • Roland SH-101 (and its many clones SH-01a, Donner L1 Essentials, S1 - not so much the Behringer MS1, though)
  • Nord Modular
  • intellijel Cascadia (mainly for its excellent user interface, sound is also great but not super unique)
  • Dreadbox Artemis as a modern sounding allrounder

I also like quite a lot of other synths, but in my best-of-list, I’d include mostly synths that I could not replace easily with other models, for different reasons.
