Sequencing issue?

Hey everyone,
I’m trying to sequence external gear with my new digitakt and it works fine sequencing my boutique jx08’s two separate parts but when I play notes to my west pest it retriggers the note when I let go of the note or when a note in the step sequencer stops. I did not have this problem when I sequenced my west pest through ableton or my squarp pyramid, so I’m led to believe this is something I’m missing inside the digitakt.
Any ideas? Reddits been very unhelpful with this…

Hi and welcome! This is a known issue on the West Pest end, and though I don’t have one, it sounds like from that thread that updating West Pest firmware should fix it: Cre8audio East Beast & West Pest - #262 by dzlo
