Sequencing External Synths from DAW, passing though Analog Four MK1

I am trying to sequence my external synths from my DAW through my Analog Four MK1 via USB on Overbridge 2. I am using the Midi Out to connect to my external synths and the Midi Clock is Rock Solid with Ableton, however I am unable to figure out how to sequence my synths within Ableton, as from what I understand, the Midi doesn’t pass thu from USB to DIN? I can set the MIDI settings to Choose the Analog Four as the Midi out and choose the right Midi Channel for my external synth but nothing. Any thoughts welcome? Is this possible?

Correct, those two busses are separate, the A4 doesn’t act as a MIDI interface

DIN OUT will be from the internal sequencing pressing twisting etc - Thru will be a copy of the DIN IN

Thanks for confirming, thought I would just double check. Guess I’ll just have to sequence the external synths via the Ananlog Four Sequencer instead.
