I am looking for a solid compact live sequencer for doing my techno, house and ambient sets once I am healed up. I have a Squarp Hapax in my studio but want a smaller compact sequencer for live shows. I am looking at Torso T1 and Oxi One as these seem like great portable yet different sequencers. Thoughts? I would probably use them to clock and sequence 1-3 small desktop synths like Roland Boutique synths. I have small modulars as well so CV option is a plus.
Oxi One is a solid option. Lots of sequencer types in that one unit.
You have an Octatrack. You have a Digitone. Use one of those.
You have a TE OP-XY. Use that.
Your Digitone would be perfect for that application.
thanks I will try it out as well as the OP XY MIDI tracks. I need to get the adapter MIDI cable for the OP XY but think for live setup it would be fun and I can always sample the small boxes into it and have ultra fly rig with just the OP XY and TX-6 for easier travel.

I had an Oxi One and was very impressed by it, but I found that I’m happiest using either a computer or an Elektron sequencer, so I sold it recently. It’s really very good though - compact while also being very well-built, and once you get over the hump of learning a few button combos it’s very logically thought out. Instrument definitions make controlling CCs a breeze.
Grab a used SquarpPyramid. About the same size as a DN.
