Hi all,

I just recently got an AK and I’ve been playing it excessively and love the sound of it, and I’ve been buying and selling synths a lot over the past few years trying to find something like this. One thing that is confusing me though, when you make a sequence on a track, even with single notes, and try and play over the sequence on the keys on the same track, it mutes the sequence until you let go of the keys! Now maybe I’m missing something but I know it’s not because of voices. Have you guys noticed this and know why? Very strange. I know I could just play over it on another track, but I don’t see why I’d have to.

Hi max,(?)
Because you habe only one voice per track. If you want all 4 voices handle in onetrack you have to switch in multimode mode.IMHO
Is it possible to chords in multimode? Can you test for me? I will buy an AK nextweek but if it is not possible To record a chord in the seq.(multimode in) this would be a knockout for the AK

2Sps:
Yes, it is possible to record/assign chords to trigs in poly mode. Nice thing that you can still use other voices in time between sounding chords. And you can also lock any sound from sound pool to any trig.

It isn’t about polyphony it’s that pressing the keys mutes the sequence. This is done on purpose to do improvisation live I think

Hmm I see. So if you make a sequence on Track 1 and you want to play over that sequence with the same sound you have to use up another track? Kind of a bummer.
