Any recs?
Ideally a step sequencer with some form of randomization/chance.
I actually own a hapax which I love but I now have about 4 drum machines that If I use drum tracks on the hapax they take up about 8 tracks.
Beat step pro would be perfect but I don’t think you can note map the melody tracks like you can the drum tracks.
And just to be clear I want something that can hold a whole drum machine on a track. So sort of 16 track note mapping within a track.
What if you use project B for additonal 16 Tracks? With USB channel cable and a midi router? Would possibly be cheaper? Mio XL etc.

Oxinone MK2. 8 sequencers. 64 tracks.

Cirklon? Mapping multiple drum/synth’s/whatevers to a Sequentix Cirklon is pretty easy and where it truly shines. I don’t really have any experience with anything else to compare though.

Then I have to put it in song mode to do any joint pattern changes and I love just being able to remix patterns on the hapax on the fly
I’ve thought looking into an oxi one and how it handles drum sequencing. Thanks for the suggestion
Would love one but it always seemed a good bit too expensive for my needs
