Sending MIDI to Roland TB 303

Hi everybody,

as far as you know could you please tell me if there is any external gear that is able to send MIDI data to a Roland TB 303 from a DAW like LIVE 9?

I already have this …

but it is just for the tempo…

I don’t if there is something for sending MIDI data like MIDI NOTE…

Play the 303 with the MIDI NOTE sent from your DAW or any other external gear…

You would have to have it fitted with midi. The dyn port on the 303 is only for sync24 not midi. You can buy a kit here. http://www.kentonuk.com/products/items/sockets/roland/tb303.shtml

The OT doesn’t have CV outputs but if you have a MIDI to CV converter it should work. Maybe build or have someone else build you one of these and stick it on an enclosure with a simple power supply. It’s specifically designed to interface the OT with analog modular gear and would be enough to control at least two 303s.

Yeah I know I can. I’m already sequencing my SH101 via CV/Gate converter. But what about VCF/Accent and Slide control.

If converter could do this (as shown on a video), could Octatrack do this in a pare with this converter?

Various pages on how to do it , hardware , if it’s possible etc.
Often quicker than forums , though I’m impatient and try google / YouTube / search option till I give up.
And when I get stuck I’m on forums asking too .
And sometimes 30 seconds after asking on a forum I figure it out anyway and feel like an idiot.
