Sending midi CC to Nord 2

Hi all,

Sorry if this is noob question. I have my OTmk2 sending midi to my Nord 2. In chromatic mode it fires notes just fine. I want to send CC messages on channel 74 for filter freq. I double tap FX 2, set the CC1 to channel 74, but it only says “off” and the knob won’t react to any touch/turn/press.

What am I doing wrong?

another weird thing… When I play using the chromatic keyboard the nord plays just fine. but if I live record as I play the trigs are recorded but the notes stop playing.

what gives?

Have you muted the OT’s MIDI sequencer track?
