How are you using the standalone Digitakt in a live gig?
I have a performance coming and want to use Digitakt by itself. Have six tracks prepped. But how do I move between them without stopping the track?

@wowzer posted this video a while back:
Nice transition trick. But with a more complex pattern which utilizes different stereo effects for different tracks, wouldn’t a mono recording of the loop be quite obviously?
How I work transitions when constructing a live perform is to look at each space that requires transitional material and attack it that way. I find there is no blanket technique for transitions.
One thing I will do is create a sequence where everything is muted but the kick and have that slowly morph into the next tracks kick while using the filter etc, during this sequence I will also slowly adjust bpm as well.
For me it’s a composition thing, writing individual transition sequences between tracks make me feel like I approaching one big composition rather than putting a handful of tracks together
then I add other stereo sounds, like stereo hihat, perc, etc…
the loop is mono, okay… not stereo
but the sound rolls on and a new stereo sounding sound can instantly be created
and the cool thing for me… it creates this DJ vibe mix through the live set
This is great! Thanks for the set and tip.
Cheers!
A second Digitakt, obviously.
