Don’t know why but after very short periods my eyes get stressed when using a screen with a white backlit background. Got some orange lighting gel, cut it to size and stuck to the RYTM screen with thin strips of 3m double sided tape.
Much less tiring for long hours. Done it for octa and Akeys as well. Might be useful for someone else out there.
i’m hoping the slight extra delay for the OTmkII is due to the last minute retrofitting of tritone screens capable of “going from zero to hero”;
switching from regular to Machinedrum Orange with the mere changing of a global parameter.
actually the new oTmkII has a cool inverted screen white text option, but if this is still too bright, it’s nice to know the orange lighting gel technique looks so effective, cheers
