Very different boxes, I have both Deluge isn’t going to give you much that OT does, and vice versa, aside from they both sample they have very little in common.

Yes, it’s obvious to me. I was just looking for something completely new to me, I didn’t have any specific expectations. Originally the choice fell on Octatrack, but I feel sending it back today was a good choice. I have never compared Deluge with OT, because I can see how different these boxes are.

I still want to check Octatrack. I will back to OT later as I said, but when I see a good second hand unit, now after this initial test I know that I don’t want to pay full price for this.

It was empirical, wanted to mimick OP’s case with low rate, using that 256Hz sine I originally used to check OT’s clicks.
(No clicks at 120 bpm).

I definitely understand that, I have an MKI. Far from perfect, OT disappointed me at first, I was new to Elektron. It is unique and deserve some time to appreciate its incredible strengths, or not.
