I love using the saw and ramp LFOs on the DN and other places to do things (as one often does). I’ve found, however, that the saw and ramp LFOs on the OT seem kind of whacky. I can never quite get them to sound good and I can honestly say I have no idea why that would be. I also know I’m not being super descriptive, but maybe through discussion I’ll be bake to tighten up my thoughts.
So…could you elaborate?
Which mode are you using? (Free, Trig, etc…)
I mean, it’s hard to elaborate. I rock all the modes depending on the purpose. I was hoping someone else would have a similar feeling and could help me describe it. I’m not always good with words when it comes to this type of thing.
I didn’t experienced surprising different behavior on any other Elektron…
Maybe a speed difference?
Nah. I’ve synced them up. I know it’s hard to match them up apples to apples in some ways. maybe I’ll see if I can do a demo. Maybe record a pad from the DN into the OT and then apply the same LFO to both on the VOL parameter.
I could also just be kind of crazy…
