can anyone can tell me how to save the project on the analog
g rythm mk2 please cos im having some problems…
page 24…
yes thanks i ve seen that and does not save the patterns how i make them anyway…
You may need to browse the forum on what is actually saved when a project is saved, it’s probably not what you think - discussed countless times, there are saved states for patterns and there are temporary working states that allow you to jump back to a previous saved state
yes i find my self to remake all the sounds on my patterns every time i turned it off…very bad…i need to sort it out very soon …thanks for your help anyway
for every pattern that uses different sounds, you have use a dedicated KIT for it.
so, save the KIT for every pattern that uses those same sounds.
And read more than just that one suggested page of the manual. At least read the first few chapters where the architecture of the device is explained so that you understand what is what and how everything interconnects (samples, sounds, kits, patterns etc.pp.),
Another tip: when posting state your problem in detail. “It does not save the patterns how I make them” is simply not enough to help you in any way. Explain how you make them and what happens when saving/loading them again. What doesn’t get saved? What is different?
Asking only generic questions will get you only generic answers (like RTFM).
Just a wild guess (most common new user error):
When the sounds of a previous saved pattern have changed then it’s very likely that another pattern uses the same kit and you modified it (so also the save pattern sound different due to the sharing).
If you don’t want that “sharing of a kit between patterns” just save the kit to a different slot whenever you start with a new pattern AND before you make changes ([FUNC] + [PLAY MODE] opens the KIT menu).
hello,i was wondering how ar mk2 users are saving their projects on their computer because i cant do it it …any advice would be magic ,thanks
ive done all that mate and i dont know what im doing wrong
I don’t currently own a Rytm (it’s coming soon tho!), so it might help if you describe the processes you’ve done and what didn’t work exactly, so that others can help you out.
right … i choose usb to connect to the transfer …it connects so i go to the sysex dump …choose whole project, it says sending ,but nothing is sent to my pc
Latest version of Transfer? What OS on Rytm? What version of Windows are you running? Have you selected USB midi instead of Overbridge? The more details, the better
I’ll let someone else chip in now.
newest transfer …newest OS on the rytm …freshly updated windows 10 .i changed from overbridge to usb midi …
I dont own rytm. Only a4. But I think maybe you still need c6 for project. (?) Transfer only for samples and os upgrade
You find c6 on support page for analog drive on elektron se…
i just tried that and i think it worked …I THINK …THAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANKS
THE C6 WORKED ,some times i think computers hate me ,thanks for your help
The computer loves you. (If youre not on apple and didnt disable icloud, I also thought wtf just before…) Its just the strange world of saving on elektron machines you experienced. For me the strangest is pattern autosave. Because of that i didnt bought the ar after a4. But i regret it often, the sequencer is so nice…
But yeah I agree we should play acoustic guitar only and prepare for the day the computers dont need us human slaves anymore
ha your right i might just get some expensive spoons and go for it )) tonight ive backed up all my projects bit ive also deleted the samples that were in the projects so i might as well have saved my time and did the factory reset without tryin to save my projects…so tomorrow i start again from scratch …hmmmmm spoons
Pure speculation from a a4 owner, but there I learnded from avantronica here some days ago that factory reset only resets bank a and b , the rest of+ drive is untouched. Format + drive clears it all.
Maybe something is somewhere still… but ar owners know that better…
Good night all the best
