Sampling nature sounds - Trippy Hip-Hop video

I recorded a new video with the Digitakt. This time i used samples from the forest. And fortunately i had no freezes while working on the beat.

Nicely done! I like it… The audio recording vid segments at the beginning were a nice touch to establish the context of your track.

So, I guess it is a bit cold in your studio… but you’ve the beats to keep you warm…

Way to stay focused with such an intent trainspotter as Godzilla.
Diggin’ it.

Thank you very much!
I have to admit it was way too hot that day to wear gloves.

Yeah, he’s quite strict and won’t hesitate to switch the power off.

Thank you! Haven’t done this for years. So many cool sounds to find.

That was beautiful! Excellent job! What were you using to record the nature? The sounds were very good!

Thank you very much!
I used a Zoom H2. It records in stereo but of course the samples are converted to mono in the digitakt.
The H2 has a good quality mic and for the price i’m quite happy with it. I heard that the Tascam portable recorders have lower noise specs and go for almost the same price. Never had a problem with noise though.
