Excellent! I grew up within and still live short distance (one hour) from New Orleans.
IMO, the vids youāve served in this thread and what Iāve watched tonight are all sample worthy.
Very nice and ideas seem limitlessā¦ at least for tonight for me if I can retain.
Iāve saved some to return to and Wynton Marsalis I couldnāt save fast enough.

went from being anti-sampling to drowning in the depths of the vinyl purist culture where even to suggest that one would sample from another medium would bounce off of my deaf ears trailed by laughter, to encompassing cassettes, vhs, television, youtube and field recordingā¦ digging is an obsession that along with sampling has allowed me to travel, learn how to escape the concept of the purist, learn other languages, grow a true love for all forms of music, time travel, and live within a state of constant learningā¦

drop some comb filter and a little bit too much reverb on it over a super dry funky mix between a break and a drum fillā¦ maybe halftime the sample too 70 bpm on the drums
