Sample slots and am I stupid?

If I replace a static sample slot with another sample will that effect every bank within the project? I think I was under the wrong assumption that each bank had its own sample slots so now the tracks I made on other banks have different samples. I feel DUMBBB

The whole project shares slots across banks and parts. You can assign a different slot to a track per part, per bank… but slots are per-project.

Not a judgement, but if you haven’t come across Merlin’s Guide for the OT, it was a huge help for me early on for project organization and getting my head straight. Search the forum. It’s easy to find.
