Will there be sound packs or samples that we can download free or purchase? Like the octatrack?

I tried downloading one of the free sample packs for the MD and transfered the samples successfully. Though I had to do the naming in the AR afterwards.

Might have worked trying to convert the .syx files to wav’s with some utility, to be able to transfer the names as well.

Would be nice to have a community website that can share samples and projects. I’d like to have an option to be able to download others projects and samples and share as well.

You can just send those MD sysex files to the Rytm as is?
Wow, that’s a great tip – I looked at those files the other day, but when I saw they were sysex, I assumed they wouldn’t work with the Rytm.

if you have a MDUW, you should also be able to send samples from it to the AR directly…

That’s nice… Was thinking how great it would be to send samples from a sampler without the computer, don’t have an MDUW tho.

I am an electronic music sample pack producer. I will be making some aftermarket packs for the RYTM. I hope to get Elektron involved, but either way - my labels will be doing it and I’m sure I’ll work on some with other labels like Sample Magic, etc.

I’ll post when we have something available.

could you tell me what C6 settings you used? I tried to do the same by sending the sysex files from the Mo Town RnB (for the MD UW) and only a few of around 20 samples were received by the AR.

While you can throw what ever you want at C6 is is happiest when the files are mono 16/44 to start out
