Give it a try after you’ve got everything tapped in with slice 1…

This is a reply to all who responded to my query 18 days ago. Being new to Octatrack, I have no idea what I am doing! I think I have figured out the overlay of the chosen sample. I now slice the sample and turn on slice in the SRC. Then I go to the chromatic configuration and put down my melody, bass line or rhythm and the whole sample does not play, just my own input. I got an error on my first project in a sample saved. I think this is because I did not follow the right protocol. Again I want to thank all who took the time to reply even if I did not reply to all responses. I was going out of my mind trying to figure this out.
