For all of you sample chain power users, I have a question.

I hadn’t considered this before but, doing the math, it would seem that you could save one template project with all of these thousands of samples loaded into the pool and, as long as you are using the same template to start each project, you could copy/paste kits between projects and have them transfer intact (samples and all).

I’ve thought it out and it really seems like this would work. Is this how you guys are using them?

Your theory seems sound to me, just make that template project and save it to every empty project slot. The kits can be copypasted just fine, so if all your projects contain the same samps (as in this case would) in the same slots, everything should work jus fine!

Hmm… not sure if this is a rabbit hole I should even explore but it sure would be nice to properly copy kits that use samples. I would think that 10,000+ samples in the pool would be more than I would ever even need. But I bet as soon as I would put in the time to chain them all and get this set up, they’ll release an update that makes the kit situation easier to handle. :stuck_out_tongue:

Yeah, and also, what if you want to add new samples later on (like project specific sample material)? Maybe not a good idea to fill up all the sample slots from such a template…
