I sample. i go file edit save sample. After this i make load new file from the AED menu and get immediate ‘Sample card error’ from the file i just saved. Whats wrong?

Generall not. Some samples from other verdor show card errors. But here i have to deal with load error sample.

make sure it’s a proper one, as fast and solid as possible in read and write speed…not more than 64gigs…don’t go for cheap here…it’s that one essential detail in the whole ot game…
run ot’s internal format procedure on it, have a look how properly it shows up on ur desktop, once ot is connected via usb disk mode…
This i already made. Purchased a 64 gbsandisk pro for 50 bugs. I have no confidence, and just risk to throw more money away.
I just tried a fresh new one with only 8GB. Sampled a sound from syth and saved it via aed Edit menu: save selection as sample and then i went to FILe Load a new sample and got immediately sample load errors. So it must be a big big bug in the elektron Octatrack. How many cards a should waste more ?
finally i put the card into my mac and mac could not play the file. So the error occurs during writing the file.
Error message:
Das Dokument „Cut.wav“ konnte nicht geöffnet werden. Ein unbekannter Fehler ist aufgetreten (-12842)
the error does not occur when i save it with FILE save sample copy.
Your cardreader looks kaputt.
I would try to contact Elektron if they can repair your Octatrack.
I will give it to my dealer. I still have 3 years warranty.
