Rytm scene parameters locked?

Hey everyone,

So I’m trying to build a few scenes on my Rytm. For the most part; no issue – was able to add 3 or 4 without issue and attribute them to various pads as needed.

However, I’ve noticed (and this has been happening on a couple of projects, consistently), I’ll try adding another scene but the parameters cannot be changed (e.g. the overdrive or filter cut-off is “stuck” and the encoders won’t let me change them).

I’ve tried keeping track of my steps to see if I’ve done anything to trigger parameters being frozen, but nothing out of the ordinary…

Any thoughts on what this could be causing this? Am I missing something, or did I perhaps hit something erroneously? It seems strange that I can add 3-4 scenes without issue, but on the 5th or 6th it abruptly will not let me change any parameters at all…they’re simply stuck.

I tried looking through threads on a similar issue, but nothing seems to come up.

Any help would be sincerely appreciated!

Are you adding too many Parameters?

There’s a limit of something like 48 parameters total can be locked across all scenes. You could be hitting that limit in 3-4 scenes if you’re locking many params per scene

Definitely make sure to click down on the encoder to remove locks you don’t need.

It’s like muscle memory after a while.
