Rytm overbridge setup

Hi guys,

I’ve own an analog4 for several years know and have no probelm with it’s setup via overbridge, but when it comes to the rytm I can’t wrap my head around it, don’t know what I’m missing here.

What I want is to have the tracks that I’ve previously activated in the control panel in separated channels, and an aditional track with the fx. For doing so I set to off the channels in the plugin “Main Mute Mask” and then I have dry channels multitracked and another channel with the wet signal.
Until then everything is ok, the problem now is that i have no distortion or compression at all. The only way I can use distorsion is by setting to on the “Main Mute Mask” of the channel but then i get the channel output duplicated both in its track and the fx track.

what am I missing¿??

thanks!!

Yeah, the distortion or compression are master fx so can only have them on the main outs, not the individual voices.

I’ve got my overbridge setup the same way with dry channels and an fx channel, and sometimes send the whole drum bus back from Ableton through the Rytm for the master fx.

Suggestion:

  1. get the AH
  2. tune your distortion until it’s raises the roof
  3. record a clean and and distorted Track into your DAW
  4. blend and finetune
  5. profit

For that kind of money you can get some serious distortion / expander plugins and still have $500+ EASY on your bank account.
