So I have up till now been using Rytm and Octatrack as slaves. Rytm over Overbridge usb and then midi cable out of Rytm to Octatrack.
But Im now using an analog mixer and prepping for dawless gigs but still want to be able to use with Ableton at home.
I have Rytm as master and midi cable out to Octatrack like before but all audio via external outs to analog mixer then from analog mixer to interface and into Ableton.
I cant seem to get Ableton to receive midi clock from the Rytm or Octatrack over midi cable?
Should be very simple but its not working. Ive selected external sync in Ableton and have in settings on both Octatrack and Rytm to send clock and transport… but nothing!
I cannot understand why this isn’t working?
Any help appreciated.
