nice, I figured out what’s happening here, it’s much simpler than I thought. It has nothing to do with choke groups and it happens on every track.
If you place a lock trig (yellow) and then make it into a note trig (red) by pressing it in grid record mode, it is no longer affected by the track note parameter but will use the last played note value instead. Trig previewing such a trig does work as expected however copying the trig (also to another track), copies the trig in the bugged state.
