Hey folks, I’m planning a gig here with the rytm and a saxphonist gonna play something with us, am thinking can I mic up the sax thru rytm and give him real time reverb and delay? Or does it falls in the realm of octatrack already?

No, you only can run the external signal thru the master distortion and the compressor. But not thru the send effects. The A4 and Digitone do this. And of course the Octatrack.

You can with Overbridge, of course you need a computer and interface, but should be mentioned.

Thanks mate, if I’m bringing a laptop and interface then I probably wouldn’t take the rytm… but I get your point.
