Hi guys…anyone running their mk2 with guitar fx pedals? If so love to hear what your using and how your routing this.
Ive yet to buy mine but have a boss bx8 analog mixer with 2 fx send/returns i was going to route the individual voice outputs into mixer…possibly have a looper in one?
Bumping this I’m getting a rytm in tmrw and I’m curious if anybody rocks pedals with theirs.
Also how do we feel about using individual outs with the master outs just carrying the efx because as far as I understand the individuals won’t carry the efx.
I’m also getting mine next week. Very interesting for me as well.

You just reminded me to give it a go (had the Rytm a few months but slowly making my way through the features). So this is based on very little time experimenting.
Taking a voice out, to a pedal is really simple:
- voice-out/mono-cable->pedal-board->mixer
- mono-cable->pedal-board->audio-interface
- mono-cable->pedal-board->rytm audio-in
Getting the levels right will vary pedal to pedal but I seem to be able to get a nice signal chain whether I go rytm->pedal->rytm or through a preamp at the end of the chain.
With single voices/master out, combined with resampling: there are a load of possibilities to explore. The audio routing options in the rytm are really flexible too so yes: it’s good.

I dont have a rytm anymore but ran pedals from a voice back into the external audio in jacks worked pretty well as long as the voice was not routed to master

And what kind of pedals are you guys using ?
If the individual out don’t carry the AR effects, a delay and reverb is needed but what else can be fun ?
