Rytm mk2 Kick road block!

Hello,

I can’t seem to get a kick sound I like at all! To my ear they sound boxy and too wooly. Not one of the preset kicks I like and I’m having trouble shaping a kick sound I like from any of the machines.

Any advice on how people go about shaping a kick would be insightful.
Are there any kit patches I can download for the mk2? I can only seem to find sample packs.

This is probably a very bad answer, but how about mixing it with various samples. Sometimes a clap or another kick will do the trick and really give it character.

I really like the sound of the Rytm, but yeah, i could also use some more patches, so following this thread :slight_smile:
