I’ve got the grey. The sticky buttons definitely add to the sauce.

sticky sauce

the grey has that retro look which is so cool - reminds me the old Akai S series and the first MPC60

The grey Rytm MK II is the most beautiful piece of music gear I’ve ever owned. It’s a shame that the pads seem to be a bit worse than on the black units. I hope Elektron will eventually start making instruments that aren’t black in the future, give us an option to choose.

yeah i have asked about the pads and it seems they tweaked them a little bit in the black version…
i agree it is a shame and i love the grey one - it also does not attract all the dust like the black one does…

Someone here who want’s to swap his ugly black one against a fancy gray one with fixed pad issue?

nobody else likes the contrasting black/grey case /button combo? i had a black one and it looked too sleek and sounded THIN (not really that thin)

Swapped my black one for a grey one. No regrets.

It’s okay, but the brighter grey of the analogs is the real deal!

@Octagonist: Now that I call classy !

Let’s also not forget about the more vibrant led colour scheme on the grey complementing the utilitarian look just perfectly.
