Hi - I’ve noticed that with both pressure (using performance) and velocity there are not available all values, rather each pad seems to have certain values it jumps to, skipping many in between.
I first noticed this when sending performance pressure to pitch of a sample in one of the rytm tracks, and the pitch change wasn’t smooth. Then I later noticed that when entering velocity data by holding a trig and hitting a pad, the values that I could get were also “stepped” - iirc each pad had its own values that it would jump to.
I am curious if anyone else has noticed this, if there is a way around it, to make it better, or if there is possibly something wrong with my machine. I know the pads are known to not be “great” afa their sensitivity, but I always just thought this meant being hard to work with afa their sensitivity curves and their feel. It seems strange that they should jump to only certain values so I’m wondering if this is indeed others experience as well.
