Rytm MK1 BD glitchy noise over Overbridge

Hi - I am wondering if anyone has encountered this issue with the Rytm MK1.

I have a synth generated kick playing into Ableton via Overbridge, and it will periodically start going into hard digital distortion. It will stay like that for a few minutes then it will go back to sounding fine. It always sounds fine from the headphone out of the Rytm.

I have tried limiting the usb bandwidth to just the main outs of the Rytm but no difference.

Also I have tried saving the sound and loading it into the SD track, but the same thing happens.

I am going to try recalibrating, but I have a feeling that won’t help - has anyone else had this problem? I had a search online but couldn’t find the exact issue I’m having.

I was using a USB B to USB C cable straight into an M1 Mac, no hub. Also the other Rytm tracks seemed to be fine, just the BD sound seemed to be affected.

I don’t have a rytm nor a mac but that sounds weird. Are you using the rytm as your audio interface?

I forgot to say - I am actually using a Push 3 as audio interface - but the audio from the Rytm should bypass that over OB I think.

I also forgot to say I have Rytm software version 1.70

I’d be curious if someone else can try out your BD sound and see if it can be replicated.
Otherwise I’d mess around with your Push 3 buffer settings maybe.

Do you get the same using the standalone rytm app ?
Have you tried tweaking the overbridge settings or ableton to 48k instead of 44.1
Tried without push3

Just the usual narrow down the options and you’ll find the issue.

not yet, thanks for the ideas I’ll give it a try

would also suggest switching pattern, sometimes patterns/kits glitch, or lowering the track level see if that’s some sort of clipping

Just to update, I recalibrated the Rytm and am still having the same issue with OB standalone, with Push disconnected, and a different USB cable.
