Rytm Mk 2 freezes

Hi there,

I already own my MK2(os1.7) for some years now. Lately im recording, uploading and chopping samples more than before.

During recording and naming samples I noticed frequent " load errors" after which the sample was not stored. If I would use the auto generated name to save the samples, saving was possible.

At this point the unit surffers freezes anytime i want to access the sample section or randomly when playing patterns. I tried recording some samples with the elektron transfer application but my computer does not get any acces to the sample destination folders! Never before this was and issue using this application.

The samples that are stored to the tracks are also now longer viewable as a soundwave. Everything is blank.

Many hours of progress are stored in the machine and im getting more and more desperate.

Help is much appreciated!!

I noticed the crashes are particular to one project. When starting under blank reset in recovery the unit works with more stabillity however something is still wrong. When using electron transfer the application freezes when trying to back up my samples and the project in question. I looks like the problem is somewere in the Ram of storage.

throw it against the wall - seriously i had a grey one that did that plus had other probes like wobbly scratchy pots etc and i sold to someone for cheap with all problems listed and documented in a totally transparent way and then it came up for sale a few months later at double the price saying it worked perfectly…
