How do you split drum between the AR & the MD?
How are you sequencing the modular?
I’ve got the modular going into the AR going into the MD. Most perc is from RYTM but the MD gets a pretty good workout too. It also helps me transition much easier. I also use the CRTL-AL a ton on the MD.
As for the modular, I made a din sync cable that’s splitting the clock and start/stop/reset into two 1/8" cables. I clock from the QCD and run it into the metropolis (sequencer).

P.S. It took me a while to click on this entry because of the “Modular” in the title. While there’s some good Modular stuff to be heard, I got the impression that most Modular users get lost in quirky bleepy strange noises… not you obviously! (except at 42:40, but then comes this heavy pounding kick, whoa nice)
heh thanks! to be honest, I WAS trying to get a little more weird rather than sticking to chordy stabs, but I had plenty of those still… this was more of an experiment and not my usual more refined performance…
