Hey, lately i have tried to put together a full live setup, including the Rytm, a TR9, a 909 and a Analog keys. But what i have notices is that the volume on the Rytm is very low compared to anything else. At least if I use stereo out.
All the other gear is set to 30% og max volume, but the Rytm has to be pushed to the max on both track and master volume to match the other gears sounds…
Has anybody else had any issues with this?
compressor settings? bad cable?
The headphone out on the A4 is quite a bit louder than the main outs because it has such a low impedance.
Probably the same for the Rytm.
There’s too many variables with the Rytm to answer your question. The output levels depend greatly on the amount of overdrive used as well as the compression settings. But generally I’ve had no problems myself…
It s the opposite for me analog rytm is far louder than my other gear (virus ti and monomachine) with balanced cables for each one
RRYTM has a massive amount of headroom built in for the compressor and overdrive. First thing when you start a new kit jack up your comp settings.
No problems with loudness whatsoever here.
Check your settings. I have to turn my AR down to hit my gain structure (-18 RMS).

Hey, thanks for all the feedback guys. Been on vacation so i havent answered, but now im back in to it.
Since there is so many factors effecting this, sample, setup, settings, etc, im going to try the compressor first. But im afraid to ruin the sound. Whats a good compressor setting for loudness?
