Rytm First Step Issue

May I know filter Type and Env?

I agree to the long attack but not on the amp attack (which has to be retriggered on each step)
It was mentioned in the thread below that, unlike the A4, the amp envelope does not retrigger

I’m not trying to be contrary or anything. Im just new to synthesis (specially envelopes) and curious for my own interest. Fwiw, i couldn’t find anything in the manual.
True, but take in mind that one thing is the envelope re-triggering (that actually happens always (or you wonn´t be able to listen to the sound once te amplitude gets to 0 (-infinite) Another thing is restart from zero amplitude on each re-starting.

As you can see on this image from your other post:

On the second trigger the envelope has again an attack then a release, so it is restarting, what doesn’t resets is the amplitude. The second trigger gets the actual amp value as start point.

On the A4 you can choose a shape that will force the envelope to re-start from amp = zero, instead of takeover the actual amp, this option is not available on the RYTM so each time the envelope is triggered it will restart from the actual amplitude level.
I see. I misunderstood your original post. Thanks.
