I Got recently OT and I have routed it as usual, AR out goes to OT and its midi synced. Somehow i felt that the sound obviously wasnt as crisp as it came straight from AR. So i routed it yesterday so that OT & AR are interconnected, AR runs trough OT and with OT back to AR again. Iknow that doesnt make much sense for controlling it from OT, the potencial etc.
Have u tried it or what do you think about it?
This would create a feedback loop?
I’ve the A/B comparisons and let it psyche me out a bit, thinking maybe I was loosing something running it through the OT.
Maybe something is getting lost, but in the end I’ve never struggled to get a lot of warmth, and low end running the AR to the OT.
The compressor on a Master Track for the OT works wonders too.
It can easily be over done.
A little compression on each instrument, sounds really good.
My first thought was also that it would create just feedback loop but it didnt. Ot out was compressed by rytm and then back to ot again, it wasnt stable but for some experimental thing im gonna experiment with that again. So it was more like a compression thing that hold it together and sounded rather nice, both sides, also from ot master channel. Compessioception or something.))
I have the same feeling. AR into OT is very low in volume and seems like to loose some dynamics. I went for OT into AR.
