I like the idea of recording individual channels for a more precise mix on my recordings. However, I record just the individual outputs, it seems will be missing the returns from the send FX.

It would be great if the FX returns could be separately recorded also. Is there a way that the master outs can contain ONLY the FX returns, and nothing else? That would solve it for me.

Otherwise, what is the best way to use the individual outputs to create a mix? Do most people just recreate the delay and reverb in the DAW?

Yes,

I’m not with my RYTM right now so i cant be absolutely precise

But if you go in global settings somewhere, go in “Track Routing” and then 'Main Outputs" you can turn all the tracks OFF that are going through the main output. This means that no tracks will go through the mains but the FX tracks will; the tracks will still always all automatically go through their assigned individual outs.

Perfect. Thank you!!!

Nice tip, I thought it wasn’t possible. Do you know if the sends pass the distortion and compressor?
