Hello everyone,
One thing that bugs me is when i want to route something, the routing menu disappears after a set time unless i keep trying different destinations. Is there a workaround? I think I would prefer to audit routing destinations until I press the “no” button.
bugs me too, it’s a balance between it being open long enough and not too long, my wish would be that the item it had last reached whilst scrolling (before it closed ‘early’) would be the one it started from when you turned the dest enc again, at least you wouldn’t have to re-scroll through up to 76 items in some cases - small deal to lots of folk, but i think it could be tweaked a bit too, at least they have push to accept now, although this isn’t available in the other useful places
Sounds nice, and perhaps the menu would stay open when using the arrow keys? Don’t have the A4 in front of me now, maybe that would interfere with some function, I can’t recall atm.
Annoys me too.
I also hate the timeout for pattern select, especially as it occurs 100% because I’ve hit a wrong key combination. I always select patterns two-handed so would love to disable that little ‘feature’.

Actually…I wish they would add a pattern select lock/hold on the A4 and AR, so you can “play” the patterns in direct start mode like can be done on Maschine. Loads of fun and adds a new level of pattern layering.
I recently purchased small, scale weights in an attempt to hold down a bank button for just this task (so I could have two hands free for playing the sequencer buttons. Unfortunately, getting a weight heavy enough to hold down a bank button also meant the diameter of the weight would press neighboring buttons. I know some folks have tried taping down the bank buttons for just this purpose, but I’m afraid that might result in the print getting pulled away at some point. Oh well…
This direct pattern switching is a bit off topic but Isn’t that already possible with a external midi (keyboard) controller via Multi map ?
Yes, I suppose you’re right…didn’t mean to hijack this thread; sorry.
