Your picture shows the data cable (white) connected to the USB hub, but where are you connecting the power cable (black)? I’m also bothered by the lack of power button in the controller, I have the data connected to a USB hub with switches as yours, but I have the power cable connected to the wall, and hence I still need to pull it to turn the controller off.
I’m considering getting the same USB magnetic adapter that has become a total success with my Bitwig 4/12 audio interface (another great device that lack a power button by design…)
