well I just put my switch puller to one of the switches and pulled with a bit of force and it seems like it’s soldered in which is what I would expect. I don’t want to pull too hard to avoid having to open this thing up lol. I haven’t looked at the board at all but if it’s fairly straight forward I suppose there’s nothing stopping someone from pulling the switches out and putting in some hot-swap sockets. I am by no means successful though lol so for $450 I don’t have much interest in making a mod that risky.
Also, I’ve been using this stand from KVGear (now SynthRISE apparently). Looks like this one is discontinued, it was called the Boo-1 for the Roland Boutique series. Works well enough! Looks like it keeps it raised a bit more off the desk than some other stands I’ve seen which is nice for me being right in front of my keyboard. Sorry for the disgusting keycaps, they’re due for a cleaning lol.
